Wisconsin Public Radio hosted an interview with Robyn in conjunction with the Trio's Chanukah concert in Milwaukee. Listeners were treated to selections from Robyn's Hearts Awaken recording, a conversation about the Trio's repertoire of World Jewish Music, and live renditions of selected songs in Yiddish and Ladino. After the interview, Robyn received enthusiastic responses from listeners across Wisconsin and Minnesota, many of whom experienced their first introduction to Jewish music and culture through the program.

The dedication of a Torah brought the Robyn Helzner Trio to New York state this fall. As the new Torah was carried into the sanctuary, the Trio provided musical accompaniment for the spirited procession and followed the dedication with a celebratory concert.

In January, the Trio spent a Shabbat in residence at Congregation Mishkan Israel in Hamden, Connecticut. In addition to performing a Saturday night concert, the Trio joined the cantor and led the congregation in the Friday evening liturgy. The Trio also enjoyed a Shabbat in residence, in honor of Shabbat Shira, at Temple Sinai in Palm Desert, California.
